“What OT means to me”
OT Week is our annual National Week when we celebrate and talk about all things occupational therapy. It enables OTA to shine a light on the amazing work OTs do across the community.
This year’s theme is “What OT means to me” and provides OTs, their clients, and industry partners with the opportunity to reflect on occupational therapy from their personal perspective.
Why get involved?
The broad theme of “What OT means to me” enables the entire OT community to shine a spotlight on the care and professionalism OTs deliver to their clients and in addition allow clients to talk about the benefits of OT to their health and wellbeing. For example
- OTs can share what OT means to them
- OT Clients can share their experiences with OT and the impact it has had on their lives
- OT industry partners can share what OT means to them and how their work impact Clients and OTs
How to get involved?
Occupational Therapy Australia (OTA) provides a range of resources that can be downloaded and shared with your network. Hosting an event at your workplace/community is also a great idea to celebrate OT Week.
