Speech Pathology Australia Online Resource Guide

Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) has shared an online resource guide to provide members, and the public, with a reference guide to products and services that may be useful. This resource guide is FREE, and available to ALL health professionals!

We also encourage you to check out the Children’s Communication Milestones produced by SPA. This resource provides information for parents and carers about the role of speech pathologists.

Advance care planning is a process in which the clinical team shares knowledge about the child’s condition, prognosis and the potential effectiveness and benefit of treatments versus the burden of various interventions with the family.

These Cognitive Exercises Help Young Children Boost Their Math Skills

According to a study by researchers at Karolinska Institutet, in Sweden, young children who practice visual working memory and reasoning tasks improve their math skills more than children who focus on spatial rotation exercises. The findings suggest that the type of cognitive training performed plays a significant role in enhancing mathematical learning in young children.

6th Pacific Rim Conference
