A NEW STUDY FOR SCIATICA

Sciatica is the name given to pain caused by irritation of the sciatic nerve, a long nerve that begins in the lower spine and extends down the back of each leg. The most common cause of sciatica is a bulging disc in the spine, but there may be other causes.

Doctors at select centres in Australia are conducting the SALIENT Clinical Study. The study is evaluating SX600 – an investigational, non-opioid single injection designed to provide long-term relief of sciatica pain. SX600 is a sustained-release product, which is designed to deliver small doses of a corticosteroid to the inflamed nerve over a period of time.  Further details- click here.
